1. Information We Collect
Reading Content (stored only on the user's device)
- EPUB books the user imports.
- Reading progress and preferences.
Subscription & Purchase Information
- Subscriptions and purchases are managed through Apple.
What Readloom Does Not Collect
- No accounts or logins.
- No analytics or crash-tracking.
- No location data.
- No contacts.
- No advertising identifiers.
2. How We Collect Data
- Directly on the user's device as books are imported and read.
- Through Apple In-App Purchase when a user chooses to subscribe.
3. Use of Your Information
- To save the user's library and reading progress so they can pick up where they left off.
- To provide, restore, and manage the premium subscription and unlock paid features.
- Readloom does not use this information for advertising, profiling, or analytics.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
- Readloom does not sell user data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- Reading content never leaves the user's device, so it is not shared with anyone.
5. Data Access, Review, & Deletion
- Books and progress can be viewed, edited, or deleted at any time within the app.
- Deleting the Readloom app removes all locally stored reading content from the device.
- A subscription can be managed or cancelled at any time in the user's Apple subscription settings.
6. Data Protection Measures
- Reading content stays on the user's device, minimizing exposure.
- Readloom intentionally avoids collecting personal data, analytics, or trackers.
7. Children's Privacy & Age Requirements
- Readloom is intended for users age 13 and older.
- Readloom does not knowingly collect, solicit, or store information from children under 13.
- The app enforces a minimum age of 13 via its App Store age rating (13+).
8. Policy Updates
- This Privacy Policy may be updated occasionally for new features, regulatory changes, or improvements in Readloom's data practices.
- Major updates will be noted in-app, and the effective date at the top of this document will be updated.
- Continued use of Readloom constitutes acceptance of any changes.
